Aegina Town (Chora) is particularly charming with its neoclassic buildings and narrow alleyways. A walk along the waterfront and through the town is a wonderful and relaxing experience. We suggest you visit the Temple of Apollo and the Archaeological Museum, where relics from the Neolithic to the Classical period are displayed. Take the time to visit the house where Nikos Kazatzakis wrote “Zorba the Greek”, in the Plakakia region, which you will find on your map of Aegina located north of Aegina Town.
